Our latest staging adventure took us to the Westworth Village neighborhood in Worthington. When we walked this 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom home, we knew instantly what inventory would work perfectly to maximize the space.

When we stage, we present a home that is a simplified version of itself.  It’s always clean and sometimes freshly painted too.  We press all the bedding and carefully select just the right art, decor, pillows and more.  We then thoughtfully place items.  Sometimes, we tinker with arrangement and sometimes, we over-prepare and wind up bringing a few things back to our warehouse.

Taking a tour throughout this split-level home, starting on the top: the living room was open to the kitchen and dining spaces.  This open space could easily handle the personality we brought through our staging pieces.

For those who find that they don’t use their formal dining rooms, this home was the perfect home for you!  Families would definitely use this table and still be part of the action. And with the kitchen being so close, being able to be interact with the family while preparing meals, was another great feature of this home.

The hallway led to 3 bedrooms and a full bathroom. A beautiful primary bedroom looked out to the fenced-in yard. Sanctuary Staging kept this bedroom space on the clean and simple side bringing in soft cool colors to tie into the rest of the home.

The sports bedroom, complete with a locker, daybed and desk, was the perfect space for the athlete of the family. The son of the seller didn’t even want to part with the new sport themed bedroom we created in his space!  Kids always tug at our heartstrings.

Last up on the top floor, aqua walls accentuated our kite theme.  There’s something so appealing about a white bedspread.  Clean and fresh… just like the sensation of the breeze when you’re flying a kite.

Down to the lower level: with so many working from home these days, people are getting creative about finishing unused spaces in their homes.  This home had a finished lower level space that we envisioned as the perfect rec room.  The idea was brought to life with multiple seating areas and a gaming table.  All highlighted with fun playful colors.

The wood tones and neutral colors of the lower level guest bedroom made a cozy and inviting space.  Sanctuary utilized some of the homeowners shelving (how cute are the anchor shelves?!) and structural features to complete the overall look.

And finishing out the lower level was another full bathroom in a soft soothing aqua color.

Our goal is to present a house as a visual dream, that’s what we do.  We create magic.  When the seller popped in during the process, he was very complimentary of our work saying things like he had never seen the house look so good.  I hope people who come through and see the captivating spaces are inspired to do a few things:

  1. Feel spurred to make an offer on the house (of course).
  2. See the potential in the house and how fantastic the home can look even with their own belongings.
  3. Be inspired to maintain it with the same pride we took to make it look that good.
  4. Carry more than just belongings with them when they move.

Our homes are more than just walls they are feelings and memories.  I hope we offer a positive influence even for the sellers too.
