In our last blog post we wrote about one side of a condo we staged downtown. To recap, we had the opportunity to stage both the left and right side of a duplex, and the realtor wanted to bring two different personalities to each side. We jumped on the opportunity and were excited to set these two apart. On one side, as you saw in the last post, we went with vibrant blues and greens. On the other side, we went with modern and classic blacks and whites with a few pops of metallic throughout the home. Our staff is split on which side is their favorite!
First up, a classic living room with multiple lounge areas, perfect for a couple of martinis.
Next up, the dining room, complete with a table set for six and a serving table – perfect for dishes, wines, and whatever you’d like to serve for dinner!
A cozy kitchen and a large mudroom space finish out the main floor. Upstairs were three bedrooms and an updated bathroom. We transformed the third bedroom into a yoga space, another way to make this home memorable!
Our most recent stage took us near the hustle and bustle of downtown Columbus.
We had the opportunity to stage both the left and right side of a condo, and the realtor wanted to bring two different personalities to each side. Our wheels started turning and we were excited to set these two apart. On one side, we went with modern blacks and whites, and on this side, we went with vibrant blues and greens, making this a memorable space for buyers!
Starting with the living room: seating space is always important in a living room. We brought in two decorative ottomans plus a funky matching chair and we couldn’t be happier with the space!
The dining room continues with the color scheme. We love how everything came together!
Behind the living/dining combo was a cozy, yet inviting kitchen. In the back of the house was a door with immediate access to a laundry, half bath and mudroom, perfect for the family pet or for a locker/bench area. The opportunities are endless!
Upstairs were three bedrooms and a bath. We transformed a secondary bedroom into an in-demand home office!
We have been staging in Upper Arlington quite a bit lately! This home, boasting over 2,700 square feet, is ready for its buyer!
Starting from the front door, what an entry! A perfect introduction to the space. Soft colors create a relaxing living room, perfect for gathering around and drinking a cocktail or two!
Next up, a kitchen and breakfast space – enough to fit 6 with a bay window looking out back.
The dining room with soft aqua decor had a Parisian feel. It boasted a buffet table ready to serve drinks to your guests.
A family room with built-ins to show off your knick-knacks, plus a spot to watch your favorite new show! Added bonus: It had enough space for a desk, perfect for the kids to finish up school. And how about those views in an Upper Arlington sunroom? What a place to unwind!
We used soothing blues in the owner’s bedroom. We also set the tone in the owner’s bath for relaxation. By bringing in white towels and apothecary jars filled with bath salts & cotton balls, our goal was to create a calming space where buyers can envision themselves relaxing!
Another fun stage, and we cannot wait to see how quickly this home goes. We enjoy working with Lisa Theado with Theado & Company on many of her listings, and are thrilled on how this one turned out!
Our latest stage took us to Upper Arlington. We fully expected this home to go fast, and it did! This home went into contract in 7 days!
Starting from the front door, this entry with gray accents creates a modern and inviting introduction. A large window brought in natural light in this living room with navy blue accents.
Next up: A completely renovated modern kitchen. We love the updates in this home! An added bonus: the space had a side entry nook, which was a perfect place to hang your coat and hat, and for family pet to relax. We had the perfect dining table set to coordinate with the gorgeous floors.
Moving down the hall, we staged this owner’s suite with calming grays and creams to create the ultimate oasis.
This bathroom with modern updates was PERFECT! Oooh those counters and shower tile! Buyers LOVED it!
The second bedroom upstairs included a sail-themed bedroom. We brought in details like the sailboat and sandcastle to make you feel like you’re right on the ocean. The third upstairs bedroom was staged as a circus-themed room decked out in pink. What a space!
This home also had a finished lower level. This finished basement is anything but dark and dreary! We brought personality with pops of color to this space. Success! We also staged a spaced for kids to study – their very own desk carved out in this massive lower level.
The fourth bedroom in the home was a space all to itself. We decked out the bedroom in garden décor, perfect for in-laws or weekend visitors. We love adding memorable touches to each space.
And lastly, a large laundry space and bath with modern touches – a buyer’s dream!
Thank you to Ryan Gruebmeyer for trusting us to stage another one of your properties! We had a blast and are so happy for the new buyers!
Our most recent stage took us to Blacklick to the McNeill Farms area, and we were so excited to stage this home. This home went into contract in 4 days and we aren’t the least bit surprised.
Starting off in the den. Two spaces that are in high demand right now: home offices and outdoor living areas. Our slanted shelves made an appearance in this flex space, and an added bonus: this space overlooked a side deck, perfect for a few daily breaks from work.
An inviting dining space is a great introduction to this Blacklick home. Bringing in cozy, warm colors to this space, buyers are going to fall in love with this special home.
The family room had a perfect palette and we continued the warm, cozy colors into this space to create a cohesive look.
Moving onto the kitchen. Double pantries anyone? These sellers thought of everything when renovating this kitchen. Lastly, a classic breakfast area shows off the bay windows and floors in this home. We brought in a separate console table to cart drinks back and forth from the kitchen to the family room. We LOVE how this space turned out, and we have a feeling buyers will too.
An owner’s suite has all the bells and whistles. The main area boasts a queen bed with nightstands and matching lamps, a separate seating area overlooking the back of the home, along with a large dresser to really show off the spacious bedroom. Two separate walk-in closets lead into a large bathroom. So many features packed into one space, and we are a little envious of the buyers.
A cozy guest bedroom with soft mint-green accents makes this the ultimate space for visitors. The sunshine bedroom and a boho bedroom finished out the top level and brought buyers in.
Bringing pops of color into this large finished basement. An entertainment space with a pool table behind is a perfect hangout space. This finished lower level also boasts a half bath and a SECOND laundry space. The sellers pulled out all the stops with this home, and we are so excited for the buyers!
Thank you to Realtor® Rachel Alley and the homeowners for choosing us to stage this gorgeous home!
Our most recent stage took us to the coveted Scioto Reserves neighborhood in Powell.
Boasting 4 bedrooms, a flex space, a finished basement and over 3,300 square feet of space, we knew this home would fly off the market before we got to blogging about it. And we were right! At a $429,900 price point, this home went into contract in only 5 days! Let’s take a tour around the house.
First up: The home office. Whether it’s taking measurements with our laser measurer, checking colors with our color sensor, and anything else we pull out of our hat (or in this case, bag) at our first walkthrough of the home, you can be assured that we carefully select each and every piece that goes into the seller’s home. Prime example: we measured this space and just so happened to have 3 console tables that fit perfectly into this home office cubby.
Onto the front living. What a great introduction to this home! We brought in neutral accents throughout to create comfort and draw the buyers in.
Next up: the kitchen. White cabinets, granite countertops, and a kitchen island are such awesome selling features in this kitchen – we have a feeling the new homeowners will be spending lots of time in this space. Soft colors in this dining room create an inviting space for family and friends. Finishing out the main level are a convenient eat-in breakfast spot and a spacious family room.
On the second level are 4 bedrooms and 2 baths. We brought some pops of subtle green decor into this owner’s suite.
We fell in love with the decked-out-in-pink bedroom. Feminine touches include the buffalo check walls, small pink rocking chairs and frilly pink bedding. And yes, the sheets have donuts on them! Our mouths are suddenly watering…
The guest bath with updates throughout was decorated with relaxing spa items. What a treat. Our ever-popular train room and another spacious guest bedroom finished out the top level.
Lastly, the lower level. Multiple spaces in this finished lower level are a great selling feature of this home. Black and white décor with cocktails made this a prime adult hang-out spot.
Thank you to Realtor® Shaun Simpson for trusting us to stage another one of your homes.
One of our recent stages took us to a beautiful and peaceful neighborhood in Powell, overlooking almost an acre of land. We staged the whole 3,900+ square feet of this home and cannot wait to see how fast this home sells.
Starting at the front of the house, this home had a large home office, perfect for this day and age. Books, antique cameras, plants and more finish out this space, and we couldn’t be happier with the result. Moving into the living room, this sofa and art has to be one of our favorite combinations. We brought in blues and grays throughout the living/dining space, and absolutely love how these spaces flow.
The kitchen and breakfast area is the perfect spot to congregate, next to the sunroom and family room seating for 7 overlooking the large backyard.
We brought in aqua and beige colors throughout the master suite to create a calming oasis. This space even had a mini library to snuggle up and read a good book before heading to bed.
Next up is the guest bedroom suite. We created a garden bedroom that is perfect for the in-laws or visitors over the weekend. The lampshades even have flowers on them!
The third bedroom was decked out in our dino décor, down to the details with dinosaur sheets and a dinosaur piggy bank. We loved how this kid’s bedroom and attached bath turned out. The fourth bedroom was all ballerina, including the pointe shoes on the bed.
Downstairs was one of the biggest finished spaces we’ve seen in a while! First up: the play area. A teepee, seating area for blocks or puzzles, cubbies to keep toys organized, and the cutest little gray chairs with ottomans makes this the prime spot for kids to play!
Part two of the lower level was a perfect movie living area, a pub space to play some cards, and a seating area to socialize.
This lower level space also had a walk-out vestibule, where we thought it would be perfect to add a console table with gardening accessories. We wanted to add a special something to this home, and we thought this was a fun way to tie it all together.
We think new owners are going to fall in love with this humungous property!
A special thanks to Realtor® Tae Kim for trusting us to stage another one of her listings.
We were ready to stage this 3-bedroom condo in Westerville. Eight days later, it’s already in contract and we are not surprised!
The first stop in this home was an entry spacious enough for a bench and a table to drop off keys and bags after a long day.
Around the corner was the kitchen, where we brought in old cookbooks, a teapot and more to create a space that will inspire you to cook. We also enjoyed staging the bar area, a perfect spot to enjoy a quick breakfast and a cup (or two) of coffee. Connecting the kitchen and living was the dining area for 6 with calming blue and gold accents. The spacious living room overlooked the beautiful and peaceful backyard with a niche perfect for your TV.
Going upstairs, we brought in modern grays and whites throughout the master suite to create a calming sanctuary.
Have we mentioned we love staging kid’s rooms? The second bedroom of this condo was decorated in kite-themed bedding and accessories. Perfect for a windy day – this kite-themed bedroom with pops of pink and turquoise makes us smile every time we stage it! The third bedroom was all cars-themed! A metal desk chair and a Route 66 sign are some of the finishing touches to the cars-themed kids room.
We knew this space would go fast – so happy for the sellers and new owners!
A special thanks to Realtor® Tae Kim for trusting us to stage this property.
Another inspiration post for those of us who have been in our homes too long and are ready to refresh our space, but don’t know where to get started.
This post will be focusing on 7 kitchens we have staged. Enjoy!
#1: For the cocktail and wine connoisseurs, we have the perfect setup. Stack two of your martini glasses and a shaker on cutting boards with a modern plant peeking out. On the other side of the counter, we set up a few wine bottles in a holder, and voila – the perfect place to mix up some adult beverages!
#2: This traditional kitchen with an oversized island gives off a warm, cozy vibe. We imagined family sitting around enjoying fresh-brewed coffee and a healthy breakfast. In the background you can see an open cookbook on its stand and herbs by the window. Finishing out the island we placed a sparkling water bottle and two glasses, along with a vignette including a ceramic pear and kitchen plant.
#3: In this kitchen we set up seating for 2 around the island. In the center of the island we brought in a tea kettle with a two coordinating decor pieces on top of a cutting board. Two straw placemats with mugs and napkins created the perfect space for breakfast and a great start to the day.
#4: Wooden cutting boards are versatile kitchen accessories, as they can be stacked against a colorful backsplash like this one, or they can be laid flat and used as a tray. In this stage, we brought in cookbooks with knives placed inside, alongside a modern plant to create a lovely vignette.
#5: This particular kitchen looked out into the back patio with the sliding door, so we created this adult beverage center with a subtle reminder to take a deep breath and relax.
#6: An adorable French press with 2 coffee mugs and syrups is perfect for the folks who just need a little help getting up in the morning. We brought in some warm colors throughout this vignette to tie into the terra cotta-colored backsplash.
#7: You’ve probably seen new or renovated kitchens with shelves that have replaced the upper cabinets, and may not know how to properly display your kitchen decor. Dishes, jars, plants and a simple “Columbus” sign were perfect for this fully renovated downtown home.
Hope you are inspired to try a few new things in your kitchen!
Our latest stage of 2020 brought us to a more rural area and to a ranch home in Johnstown, Ohio.
Listing three bedrooms, two living rooms, a kitchen with an island, and a dining room off of the great room, this was a great entertainer‘s home. On top of that, the property was on over two acres of land – what a selling point!
Starting in the great room, we brought in comfortable seating for 7+ to gather around the white brick fireplace that warmed the space. Behind the great room was a dining room with direct access to one of the two decks outside. We brought in more farmhouse decor with our tobacco baskets on the back wall and simple, yet elegant dining centerpiece set. Around the way was a kitchen with a large island enough to seat four, overlooking the second deck.
The second living room, the den, was transformed into a lounge area with a little modern flair. We brought in martini shakers, wine bottles and glasses for a perfect spot to have friends over, watch some TV and socialize.
The guest bath boasted double sinks and floor-to-ceiling storage.
The master bedroom was one of the longest that we have seen, and we were able to bring in a queen bed along with another seating area for plenty of relaxation. Double closets and a master bath finished out the master suite, with an added bonus of a sliding door to the back deck.
We enjoyed working with Mark Neff with New Albany Realty on many of his listings, and are thrilled on how this one turned out!
